Basic surfing rules

2022-10-20

1. Before paddling out, make sure to observe the wave going and do your best. If the wave is too big for you, go somewhere else or surf another day.
2. Try to paddle out of the zone next to the wave area and not directly across it.
3. Beginners should stay away from the crowd, observe the waves, and chase smaller waves that no one is under.

4. If the paddler and the rider are about to collide, the paddler should continue to paddle forward (avoiding the rider as much as possible) and let the rider take the initiative to avoid you.
5. Don't be a selfish person and keep going down the wave, everyone should take turns to go down the wave and avoid other people grabbing the wave from behind.
6. Don't throw the board unless the situation is critical and you have the possibility of getting hurt; if you do, you will have to be responsible for it, including the damage to the board or the damage the board may cause to others.
7. Unless everyone discusses it in advance, a wave can only be down by one person, if it is a triangle wave (a wave that can run left and right at the same time), then 2 people can go down the wave in different directions.
8. Don't be an annoying person. If you grab a wave, please apologize to others. If you don't know a newbie and violate the surfing rules, please clearly explain the surfing rules to them and share with others as much as possible.

9. Remember to take your trash with you wherever you go surfing.
